Miles expiration
- Ordinary miles generally expire after three years. Earning more does not extend older miles.
Extensions and exceptions
- Eligible miles can be extended once for a fee through Miles > Miles Validity. PPS Club members have separate protection.
Booking for other people
- Register up to five people as redemption nominees—the travelers you can book for. Adding a nominee is free.
- New or replacement nominees cannot travel on an award within 72 hours of being added.
Replacing a traveler
- Replacing or deleting a nominee can involve fees and timing restrictions.
