- For Delta One, its long-haul business class, compare eligible Flying Blue and Virgin Atlantic awards before spending a large SkyMiles balance.
Can you change or cancel?
- For eligible non-Basic awards starting in the US or Canada, changes and getting miles back after cancellation have no fee.
- Act before departure. A different flight may require more miles; Basic tickets and other origins have different rules.
Cardholder discount: TakeOff 15
- Eligible Delta Amex Gold, Platinum and Reserve primary cardholders get at least 15% off the miles for qualifying Delta-operated awards.
- Partner-operated flights and cash charges are excluded.

From search to booking
Find and book on delta.com
- Select Shop with Miles. In the app, select Show Price in Miles. Sign in to receive any eligible cardholder discount.
- Select My Dates Are Flexible. Compare dates, then choose Delta One or business class as appropriate for your route.
- Check who operates the flight. The cardholder discount applies to qualifying Delta-operated flights; a Delta flight number alone is not enough.
What about Pay with Miles?
- Pay with Miles reduces an eligible cash fare in 5,000-mile increments, generally worth up to $50 each. It is a different booking method from Shop with Miles.
